I am Karine Patel, founder of Nutrition Synergy, member of the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a Master of Science in Nutrition at University of Montreal. My thesis subject for my Master’s program was about strategies and challenges associated with long-term weight loss maintenance.
I am passionate about my work, and I am devoted to make you fall in love with healthy living. My goal is to achieve success with each and every one of you and to motivate you towards adopting healthier eating habits. Whether you are a ‘picky’ eater or a big eater, I will make you discover the joys of healthy eating.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling, cooking, reading about nutrition and exercising. I completed the completed the Montreal half-marathon in 2013.

My approach to health is holistic. Rather than focusing on illness or specific parts of the body, I consider the whole person and take into account that no two people are the same, and thus no two people can be treated the same. A holistic nutrition approach takes a person’s whole life into account to create a nutritional plan designed for that specific person to ensure health and well-being.
While ensuring that my clients are healthy and well nourished is my primary goal, I believe that feeling satisfied with how one looks contributes just as much to health and happiness. With my dietary advice I can help my clients to reach their goals, whether it be weight loss, eating healthily to prevent disease or eating right for a specific disorder.
No healthy lifestyle is complete, however, without exercise, which I firmly believe is the key to maintaining the healthier, happier, new you. Resistance training sculpts the body, amplifies the metabolism and prevents fat storage, while cardiovascular exercise keeps the heart healthy and lowers body fat percentage.
So what can you expect from a nutrition consultation with me? You and I will be using a holistic approach to your health, therefore, depending on your needs, we will discuss stress management, exercise, organisational tips, and strategies to overcome any difficulties, such as cravings and emotional eating.

Hello I’m Lucy! Foodie, sun worshipper and wannabe cyclist! I gained my first-class honors degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Surrey university, before moving to Oxford to call my home.
I have always maintained a strong interest and passion towards food & its role in maintaining optimal physical and mental health. The effect nutrition has on the gut fascinates me and the power dietary manipulation has in eradicating these embarrassing and often debilitating digestive disturbances such as changes in stools, pain and reflux, is vast. I have significant experience and knowledge regarding diet in relation to a variety of gut conditions such as IBS, IBD and Coeliac disease. I use a combination of dietary and lifestyle factors to abolish these symptoms for good.
After completing my first marathon in May 2018, I have developed a love for sports nutrition, fully embracing the effect it can have in maximizing performance and minimizing risk of injury.
I also enjoy helping people find a size at which they are happy, healthy and comfortable. Whether you would like to lose or gain weight, I believe in a fun and flexible approach.

Hello everyone, I am a Registered Dietitian, Triathlete and passionate foodie. I have been lucky enough to work in every aspect of food and diet and look forward to being able to help you.
I was fortunate to have been awarded a two-year Sports Scholarship coupled with a Talented athlete scheme and Sports Award which enabled me to train at the highest level in Triathlon and study for an MSc specialising in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Loughborough University. This not only provided me with the opportunity to train with the best athletes in Britain but also to apply the theory studied and help/advise other athletes. Once I graduated from Loughborough University I completed my Postgraduate in Dietetics at Cardiff Metropolitan University and worked within the NHS for four years in a variety of nutritional settings such as Weight-management; diabetes; gastrointestinal; and nutrition support to name a few before working as a Freelance Dietitian. Having the opportunity to work with Cardiff City FC acting as their performance Dietitian ensuring the players dietary needs were individualised, optimising training adaptation and recovery showed me how critical this was. Working with funded athletes from the University West of England has given me a great insight into the most current methods in sport and their requirements.
I thrive on making a positive difference through educating and communicating my own knowledge and professional experiences, to inspire others and to share with the population the benefits of a healthy balanced lifestyle and educate the importance of food and activity in our everyday lives. I truly believe that living healthy shouldn’t be complicated, unattainable undertaking. It should be something that you enjoy doing every day. And that’s my job, to help make this process easy, and help you get where you want to be with your lifestyle goals.

Hello I’m Robbie, a former chef turned registered dietitian and sports nutritionist!
I am currently working across a number of specialist areas, ranging from clinical dietetics in hospitals (NHS) to sports nutrition (assisting team GB triathletes, semi-professional boxers and footballers).
I am passionate about helping people to acheive better health and sporting goals through nutrition & lifestyle intervention. There is no one-size-fits-all which is why I believe it is important that your plan is tailored to your own individual circumstances and preferences. We can all achieve our goals and my hollistic apprach is one that helps clients gain the understanding and confidence they need to make effective and sustainable changes.
Outside of work I am a keen runner and recently completed my first ultra-marathon. This requires a lot of fuelling so I enjoy putting my experience as a chef to good use and spend a lot of time in the kitchen!

I have completed my BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics at ATEI in Thessaloniki, Greece and my MSc in Eating Disorders & Clinical Nutrition at UCL in London. I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
Having lived in different countries in the past years has offered me opportunities to explore various cultures and learn from different cuisines.
My early career was focused on treating metabolic diseases like obesity, hyperglycemia and high blood pressure. I love to exercise and sport nutrition is one of my passions.
I currently work in my other passion: mental health. I treat people with eating disorders like anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, overeating, night-eating etc.
